Wide receiver Will Fuller was left out of the Houston Texans' Wild Card Weekend lineup against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday because of a groin problem.

Fuller was considered a long shot to be ready for the postseason opener after suffering his latest injury in Week 16 despite head coach Bill O'Brien labeling him day-to-day at the beginning of the week. He missed several games due to a hamstring ailment earlier in the season.

The 25-year-old has been one of the NFL's most effective vertical threats since entering the league in 2016, but he's struggled to stay healthy throughout his career.

Deshaun Watson has been significantly more efficient in his career with Will Fuller on the field, especially on deep pass attempts.@deshaunwatson's career deep completion pct jumps from 34.3% to 43.2% based on whether Fuller is ON or OFF the field.#BUFvsHOU | #WeAreTexans pic.twitter.com/txcv7WKuve
