Tom Brady wouldn't shed any light on his future plans after the New England Patriots were eliminated from the NFL playoffs on Saturday.

Brady's contract expires at the end of the 2019 league year, leaving him eligible to be a free agent for the first time in his career.

"Who knows what the future holds? We'll leave it at that," Brady said in his postgame press conference.

"I don't know what the future looks like and I'm not going to predict it," he added.

Brady has played his entire 20-year career with the Patriots and was effusive in his praise of owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick. Though he's 42 years old and has already won six Super Bowls, he doesn't sound ready for retirement.

"I would say it's pretty unlikely," Brady said.
