Linux Mint Libre Office stopped printing.
by Pierre Boucher from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4XFQ2)
Hi to all,
Having switched from Windows 7 to Linux about 1 month ago, I'm quite satisfied with Linux Mint 19.2 so far. But...
today, Libre Office Writer 6.0.7.3 decided to stop printing. It shows a "print job complete" message, but nothing is printed, neither the printer is triggered. I reinstalled the printer driver, reinstalled Libre Office Writer, installed AbiWord. Niet.
Yet, Linux prints a simple text document from its text editor. Seems that there's no connection between Linux and Libre Office.
The printer is a Canon MG2420.
So, I'm totally puzzled.
Thanks in advance for anyone having a solution.
