How To Migrate Windows PC GAMES From Windows OS's To LINUX OS's Without STEAM Or WM Ware???
by ACES008 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4XS9W)
Hi there, I bought a windows 7 operated System, it had pre installed games on it and I personally don't like what windows is doing to sell a product that's not fully cooked yet, in other words there's too much updates on windows 10 and windows is forcing windows 7 users to go to windows 10 now before 14 January. I decided i'll go to Linux because it's a better world with less of a sword hanging over my head, my main question is, is there a emulator for Linux that allows you to copy and paste entire folders of games and paste them directly into the emulator, I've tried Vine but it only allows you to install the game from the original disk and run the .exe file, like I said earlier, I got the games on the system I bought with all the installed files and folders on it, I did make copies of them and I did make sure they work on another windows 7 system, please note, I am trying to move away from windows so i am not interested to install windows to a virtual machine and then play the games from there (Example: VM Ware), I'm looking for something as you would play a mobile game on your PC for example Blue Stacks? I thank you all in advance for your support and I can't wait to hear from you.
PS: I enjoy learning new things Computer related so enlighten me with knowledge even if it's got nothing to do with my questions.
