Change Grub2 Splash Image?
by userzero from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4XSPR)
Hi All,
I'm running XFCE 4.12 on Debian 10. I'm trying to change the Grub2 splash image. I've researched online and tried:
1. adding the line: GRUB_BACKGROUND='/usr/share/splash_image.jpg' to /etc/default/grub and
2. adding splash_image.jpg to the /boot/grub directory
Neither has worked. Image is owned by root and is set to 755. Anyone have any luck changing the Grub2 splash image?
Thanks Much,
