Partitions during install

I decided to install Mint on my Windows 10 laptop. II want to make it duel boot because I still want to be able to use Windows. I have a 500 Gig HD with only the C Drive and I've only used about 80 Gigs. So I plan Will the installer that comes with Mint partition my hard drive? Or do I need to do that first. to set the Linux partition 200 Gigs leaving the rest for Windows. Will the installer that comes with Mint partition my hard drive? Or do I need to do that first? Thanks
