intranet browsing

I have a local network setup mainly using Debian and Apache2 and Firefox or Chrome as browser, with a server using dynamic DNS.
One can successfully browse to my internet site at stockton.co.za/lcars but I cannot browse to 192.168.0.100/lcars.
Using stockton.co.za I am obviously connecting from another network but using 192.168.0.100 I am attempting a local/intranet connection which always fails with a cannot find message.
Please tell me how to fix this.
