Question regarding kernel update in a dual boot configuration

I am dual booting Manjaro and MX Linux 19.
MX is in control of grub.
My question is suppose I get a kernel upgrade in Manjaro should I run
Code:update-grub in MX to add the new Manjaro kernel to grub menu ?
