Trying to install Linux Mint

Hey y'all, I am trying to install linux mint. I downloaded the software, and then a UUI, and went through the process of it downloading, and then the process said it was complete, but nothing happened.
Any thoughts on what I need to do, how do I reboot my system and get the linux os running?
I am currently running a windows 10.
