Samba doesn't work anymore (several distris affected)
by madmax25 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4Y8NA)
This following issue affects these tested systems:
Linux Mint 19.3 MATE 64bit
Xubuntu 18.04.3 (32 and 64bit)
Bodhi Linux 4.5-32bit and 5.0-64bit
After updating some packages, mainly related to Samba, Samba connections don't work anymore.
According to the update history of Mint, Samba packages
2:4.7.6+dfsg~ubuntu-0ubuntu2.14
have been updated to
2:4.7.6+dfsg~ubuntu-0ubuntu2.15
I'm asked for the access data, and the share of the target machine is opened, but the content of that share is loading forever without any result, so, that folder remains empty.
What can I do to fix this, please?
