KDE's new Night Color Control widget is broken

Hey guys, I'd like to get some help regarding the new KDE Plasma Night Color Control system widget. Even though I enabled Night Color in system settings and it works flawlessly, the widget is always inactive, and whenever I hover the mouse over it, it just says "Night Color is unavailable". My specs: OpenSuse Tumbleweed, KDE 5.17.5, KDE Frameworks 5.66, QT 5.14, Kernel 5.4.12-1 default.
