Slackware USB boot no keyboard recognition
by thethinker from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4YEB5)
So I'm having some trouble booting into my Slackware (14.2) system, so I made a USB boot disk via
Code:dd if=usbboot.img of=usb(from a second Slack machine) and am now trying to boot it up. I get to the boot screen ("SYSLINUX.....etc etc etc....Default kernel will boot in 2 minutes. boot:"). However, I have no keyboard control (it's a laptop). I've tried plugging in another USB keyboard, same issue. So fine, I'll just wait the 2 minutes....nothing. It's just stuck at that boot screen.
Any ideas?
