centos7 partition won't delete and seems to have swap partition locked down also
by wayne1937 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4YFQ0)
extended volume and swap partition are locked and cannot be deleted the normal way. there is a lvm2 pv partition it seems that has placed a lock on both the extended volume and swap partition. When I tried to delete the lvm2 pv partition it complained the action would destroy the coherence of the two locked partitions and the lvm2 pv partition, and an external method must be used to unlock and delete. I don't have clue how to go about this. This all occurred in an attempt to install centos7.
