black screen after timeshift on mint
by jstich from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4YJYH)
I was able to restore mint 19.03 to a usable state after getting a broken software package error.I made a few personal settings then wanted to save that configuration.I started to make a save point in timeshift and got a low disk space warning. So I cancelled it. It still showed about 330 mb space on my disk.So then I tried to delete my current save and replace it with my new configuration.I restarted the system thinking I'd get more disk space when re started since I successfully removed my timeshift entry. It showed both os es on the boot screen and I chose mint cinnamon. It automatically signed in as expected.I then get a LG screen and then the display goes black but my pc activity lights flicker like it's trying to boot but all I get is a black screen. After a few minutes waiting if I push the power button on the pc it almost immediately turns the pc off similar to how it turns off while in the boot menu in windows. Is it time to reinsall again with my usb drive?
