The Sound of Silence: Vudu, Gmail, Yahoo and Walmart tell me to "upgrade" my browser, Firefox is 45.2 and "up to date"

is there a common thread here... Firefox?
yet, Firefox in Help states it is "up to date"!
so, what am i missing here, i cannot Google anything correctly as when i attempt the typeface is so huge it cannot fit on my screen, and yes, i have made changes two or three times to Preferences in Firefox.
Add to that, that Firefox is "not up to date" on Walmart.com & Vudu and a dozen other sites that claim i need to update my browser. Yet, Mozilla states that Firefox is up to date.
Am i missing something. I am in root to avoid all the permission issues that may or may not crop up... is my Acer just for "Classic" Gmail and Yahoo now with Slackware?

How about dual boot options? Lilo and Partition Tables are set up to allow vfat and "Microsoft general" or to that affect from the Slack DVD and gfdisk. But, i have no clue how to boot into /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda3 the vfat and "microsoft general" partitions respectively.
Acer boot menu is f12 but, that won't help. f2 is BIOS but, that won't help. How do i load Windows10... hack, ugh, barf, yeow, poot, yak, choke, yak, snort, pee, puke.... into one of those two partitions /dev/sda3 preferably because the vfat is just stupid Microsoft shit anyway to set-up the NTFS boot record on /dev/sda3 and who the shit knows whats on 2, Slackware is on 4 and 5 is out there all alone in the cold of winter with no jacket also .... no, wait, 5 is SWAP. Anyway... i'm rambling cause my TV just blew up and i wanted to watch John Wick on my Netbook and have you ever been home and it's so SILENT and STILL that the only noise is the cars going by in the street and the click..click..click of the keyboard ...??? Shit... this is a lonely feeling....
