Howdy everyone,
It's great to be a part of this community. I am a former software engineer who worked primarily on linux - now I do most of my daily work on Windows and have joined "the dark side" of software sales.
That being said, I'm a big open source enthusiast and am currently trying to transition my daily work activities to an Ubuntu VM.
My fantasy is to automate my job as much as possible so I can put my feet up on my desk and collect commission checks. Unlikely to happen but a guy can dream right?
Python is my favorite language though I initially cut my teeth with Java & C++.
Let me know if there's anything I can be doing for you. Happy to help out anyone who is considering a career change from a technical role into sales or marketing.
