Tories express concern over Huawei role in UK 5G network

Letter from Iain Duncan Smith and other MPs requests that 'high-risk' vendors are ruled out

A group of senior Conservatives have written to their fellow Tory MPs expressing concern over the government's decision to allow Chinese technology company Huawei to have a role in building the UK's 5G network.

Iain Duncan Smith, who is among the signatories, said there was cross-party concern about the issue.
