Trouble with amule and -current
by Pigi_102 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4ZA0E)
Hi all,
I was trying to use aMule ( either ponce package than self-compiled ) but it always hangs.
What I can see that happens is that from the konsole where I launch I get:
(amule:20285): GLib-CRITICAL **: 20:54:21.120: Source ID 389 was not found when attempting to remove it
and the windows stop responding to mouse-click.
The Cpu starts to grow and one time I had to power-off the computer to "recover" as it was no more possible to get a window to stop it, or even get an ssh connection to kill.
This happens with Snapshot: rev. 11025 ( ponce version ) than Snapshot: rev. 11003 ( self compiled )
I suspect is some kind of problems with wx or gtk as in when you cannot click anymore ( and the cpu goes high ) it still download something....
And ye, I know ... I'm on current :(
Any hint ?
