fresh deb10 cannot stat error

Hi,
I did a fresh deb10 install, all seams fine, but after completing my configuration I notice some "strange" behaviour, e.g. as root
# updatedb
/usr/bin/find: '/run/user/1000/gvfs': Permission denied
or while trying to install kyocera driver
cp: cannot stat '/usr/share/kyocera/ppd6/* no such file or directory
-> the setup script can't create dirs or copy files in it ... so what?!
any ideas what provokes this issue?
