Testing 5G NR Devices with Standard Waveforms

This white paper reviews the 3GPP defined 5G NR waveforms and describes how to generate standard-compliant waveforms to assess the impact of the whole transmit and receive chain. Using examples, you will learn how to generate NR-TMs (test mode) waveforms, incorporate a filter in the chain for ACLR (adjacent channel leakage ratio) reduction, compute error vector magnitude (EVM), analyze phased noise impact on modeling and investigate power amplifier impairments.
