Hi Folks, I need some help
I'm having a hard time transferring files from too different seagate drives...
On one are stored my collection of movie posters documentaries and documents about favourite films. I tried to cope and paste the whole lot onto a new seagate hard drive and I got a constant blocks from the files being transferred with "No such file or directory" coming up quite constantly and I had to skip those files.
When I looked closely, they either contained ? or " or :
If I took that piece out, then it would transfer over...
So a film poster such as
1939 - Stagecoach (United Artists, 1939). Half Sheet (22" X 28") Style B.jpeg
doesn't work but
1939 - Stagecoach (United Artists, 1939). Half Sheet (22 X 28) Style B.jpeg
does.
It's probably very simple to solve but irksome when I haven't a clue.
best regards, bobby
