The days of thumping, run-stuffing linebackers are officially dead.
Players at the position are asked to cover in space more than ever in today's game, and a number of prospects showcased blazing speed during Saturday's combine to boost their draft stock.
Isaiah Simmons was the star of the show with a 4.39 run. The Clemson product cemented his status as one of the class' top players. Here were the event's top performers:
