/dev/sda1 - Low on Space, how to add more space

I have a Linux VM (CentOS5 - ESXi5.5) After running df- H, I an see:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mount on
/dev/sda1 521M 471M 51M 91% /boot
It appears that the "dev/sda1" is low on space And I would like to increase it. I guess I would have to expand the drive via vSphere & expand the Hard drive.
