Chromium is not in latest books, any reason?

Chromium is one of the most used browsers but it is nit in the latest blfs books. Any reason for that?

To build and install latest chromium on LFS someone has to follow google guidelines for compiling chromium or are there any LFS specific guidelines?
Can older blfs book for older versions of chromium be followed except for patches which obviously can not be applied to newer versions?
