Robby Anderson is interested in re-signing with the New York Jets in free agency and believes the feeling is mutual.

"I think they definitely want me back," Anderson said Tuesday, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. "I truly do want to be back with the Jets. I love Sam (Darnold). I love my teammates, Jamal (Adams) and all those guys. I feel like there's unfinished business there that I've been trying to get done since I got there. I would hope to finish out the mission, all in all, but it's a business."

One of the top wide receivers available, Anderson is expected to command plenty of interest - and a lucrative long-term deal - on the open market.

The 26-year-old broke out in 2017 with 63 catches for 941 yards and seven touchdowns. He finished the 2019 campaign with 52 receptions for 779 yards and five scores. Anderson signed with the Jets as a rookie free agent out of Temple in 2016.

New York has plenty of uncertainty at wide receiver in 2020. Anderson and Demaryius Thomas are both free agents, while Quincy Enunwa has been plagued by neck injuries throughout his career.
