Failed to set file group to 'users' - what does this mean?
by elsmandino from LinuxQuestions.org on (#50HYT)
Hi there.
I currently have two Openmediavault Servers set up - Server1 is my main server and Server2 is purely for backups of Server1.
The setup is quite basic - a single shared directory on Server1 (called "Server") and a single shared directory on Server2 ("backup").
I have been trying to use RSnapshot for the purposes of backup, so I have installed the RSnapshot plugin on Server 2.
Further, to enable me to mount "Server" on Server2, I have also installed the Remotemount plugin - the directory was mounted without any issued - this particular mount was named "Servermount".
This is is where I become stuck.
The RSnapshot addon requires you to add a source directory and a destination directory.
Whenever I try to add "Servermount", I keep getting the following error:
Failed to set file group to 'users' for '/srv/52d62ec6-054e-422e-9a36-a29afb5ab232/
what, exactly, does this mean?
