I am new with Linux Mint. I have been using Kubuntu for a few months and that is pretty good.
Anyway, I am just testing out Linux Mint.

This is about USB sticks.
I write a file to a USB stick. I do eject.
It looks like it did a partial write to the disk.
===For example, I create a folder on the USB stick. I give it a name. I copy a file into the folder.
I end up with a empty folder and the folder name is wrong. It is named "New folder".

I like how plugging in/removing a stick plays a sound, like it is done on Windows. ==============Thumbs up.
It comes with a virtual keyboard. ==============Thumbs up.
It comes with a character map thing. ==============Thumbs up.
No way to leave numlock on ============This is a hard feature to implement or something. On Windows, you have to edit the registry. On Kubuntu, just enable it from the System Settings.
Displaying kB, MB, GB, TB instead of none sense ==============Thumbs up.

This distro is going places.

1. Also, how do I change the color of the window titlebar? I hate grey. I prefer blue, as in 0000FF.
I want the font to be white FFFFFF.
For the inactive window, a medium grey and the text a brighter grey.
2. Can I make scroll bars thicker like on Win 7?
3. Can LibreOffice Writer underline my text that I mispelled as I type it, like Firefox and MS-Word does?
4. Can the taskbars high be adjusted like on Win 7?
5. Can the look of the Min, Max, Close buttons be changed? Right now, it looks like a -, + and a X. Can it be made to look like Win 95?
6. I compiled my program with Qt Creator. It generates an executable. Under Kubuntu, if I double click on it, it runs the program (It is a GUI application). Under Mint, it asks how do I want to open it and to select a program. The execute flag is already set.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=ogm8y0ZABaE:Hh0Wrdrk39s:F7zBnMy latest?i=ogm8y0ZABaE:Hh0Wrdrk39s:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=ogm8y0ZABaE:Hh0Wrdrk39s:gIN9vFwogm8y0ZABaE
