Where do I report a CentOS 8 / Firefox v68.5esr / Tealium / Schwab bug?
by KenJackson from LinuxQuestions.org on (#50SWQ)
Thursday 3/12, I could place Schwab stock market orders in Firefox on CentOS, no problem. But Friday it failed, same platform, same browser. Now the Chromium and Brave browsers fail the same.
Using menu "Web Developer -> Web Console" on Firefox I identified the problem. When I click "Review Order" on the Schwab's page, the web console reports an error:
Quote:
Apparently Tealium (tiqcdn) modified code Thursday night or Friday Morning, causing the failure.
I spent an hour on the phone with Schwab. They couldn't solve it but I'm pretty sure I've identified the problem.
There's no problem in Firefox v74 on Fedora, but CentOS still uses Firefox v68.5esr.
So is this a Firefox problem (but specific to v68.5) or a CentOS 8 problem? Or should I try to trackdown Tealium? I don't know where to report this.
