Terminal colors behaviour
by JonBardo from LinuxQuestions.org on (#50Z2B)
Hi, I'm very new to linux and I'm having troubles with some concepts. I don't really understand how terminal colors work.
Yesterday I was playing around with polybar and rofi, creating some basic modules for my bar, and I decided to install some color preview plugin for vim, so I installed Colorizer. But then I found out that the colors in the preview didn't correspond to the real ones displayed in polybar.
Im using termite, and in the config file, in the [colors] section, I yanked some color theme from github. Is that the problem? I mean, should I just not theme my shell (I think the colors defined in there are the shell colors), or is there another way to manage colors I don't know of?
