Excited, humble and hungry ...if there is one thing I have learned about football, it's that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that...you earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day. I'm starting a new football journey and thankful for the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do. I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me...I have always believed that well done is better than well said, so I'm gonna not gonna say much more - I'm just gonna get to work! #Year1

The signal-caller signed a two-year deal, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Tampa Bay is reportedly set to pay Brady around $30 million per season, but it remains to be seen how much of his deal is guaranteed.

The contract will allow Brady to suit up through his age 43 and 44 seasons and close in on his publically stated goal of playing until he's 45 years old.

"Tom is the most successful quarterback in the history of league, but what makes him so special is his ability to make those around him better," said Bucs head coach Bruce Arians in a statement, according to Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal. "I have had the privilege to work with some of the best passers in our game, and the characteristics they all possessed were the ability to lead and get the best out of their teammates.

"Tom is no different. He is a proven winner who will provide the leadership, accountability, and work ethic necessary to lead us to our goal of winning another championship."

Brady joins the Bucs after two decades, six Super Bowl titles, three MVP awards, and 14 Pro Bowl appearances in New England.

On Tuesday, the legendary QB announced he would be leaving the Patriots, and the Bucs beat out the Los Angeles Chargers to secure his signature.

Brady joins a stacked offense featuring the Pro Bowl receiving duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

The veteran also moves to the NFC for the first time in his career, and he'll play in a division that includes fellow star quarterbacks Drew Brees and Matt Ryan.

Meanwhile, the Patriots could search for Brady's successor either through the draft or free agency, as 2019 fourth-round pick Jarrett Stidham and journeyman Cody Kessler are the only QBs on their roster.
