error message

I keep getting this message
E: The package opera-stable needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.
So I tried to uninstall google chrome, because they know all my shit anyway, but when I went to terminal and used the sudo apt-get purge google-chrome-stable, I got the same error massage and could not uninstall it. So how do I get rid of this shit?
