Centos-7 Crash an Save

Crashed centos 7. Command line is offered. Attempted
to find out if the problem might show up in "dmesg". There were a couple things that stood out. However, nothing in red stood out. I had decided to wash the hard-drive and re-install, when I read a blog on installing Gnome Desktop, and it gave me an opportunity to switch from KDE to Gnome. Although, I didn't know if installing a different desktop would cure the crash - but happily it did.
