Drake’s new dance video ‘Toosie Slide’ shows us self-isolation life from his Bridle Path mansion

For Drake, staying at home during COVID-19 time means living lavishly in his Toronto mansion. And that means remote-control fireworks, trophy cases, and marbled-lined walls and countertops.

That's what you get in his new music video, "Toosie Slide" which dropped early Thursday morning. The video starts off panning the quiet streets of downtown Toronto and moves into an "MTV: Cribs"-style tour of his Bridle Path home - which obviously has both an indoor and outdoor pool.

Viewers also get a sneak peek into what he's been up to during self-isolation, which includes donning a mask and gloves and creating viral TikTok dances.

The "Toosie Slide" had already amassed hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok, with people rising to the challenge to imitate Drake's "right foot up, left foot slide" verse with their own dances. Even popular American singer Tinashe got into the stay-at-home action.

As of Friday morning, the video has over 1.4 million views, and has become a conversation firestorm on social media, with people marvelling in jealousy.

"Drake's house reminding me how broke I am," one Twitter user commented.

"Drake's house so big I still haven't even heard the song," another said.

On March 18, Drake reportedly went into self-isolation after hanging out with Brooklyn Nets' Kevin Durant, who tested positive for COVID-19.
