Thanks! for the New Version
by zayvra from LinuxQuestions.org on (#51P9H)
Just in time, my last bodhi 5.0 had a Moksha screen freeze.
Probably from a pulse equalizer install with pactl sinks,
or it could have been from another install, like Ardour.
with some new ppa's.
& There it was! a New Bodhi Version
Install was via usb on the standard, 800mb version.
All went well,
I even used the gtk creator to make the bootable iso-usb*.
on another one of my older bodhi's.
With the USB, I left it with an old iso install
and let gtk format/copy over it.
At the end of the creator iso, it said bus error,
but I didn't care, it installed as normal.
I just didn't want to use unetbootin again, and fat32 formatting etc.
After Install"
Adding-in only my fav apps,
which seems to keep these linux distro's under control.
----
Lenovo Limping Along:
My old lenovo is still spiking down though,
with total shut-offs a few times per day.
No sensor issues, just a fail along the way.
Ordered another Lenovo,(windows good condition)
with hopes it hasn't been used, as much as I use a computer.
Thus far, they haven't invented computer-usage odometer in the bios.
Just like this Lenovo, I'll install the new bodhi on it also.
Either shared partition with a windows allow for a time, (to test vocals)
or all linux as usual.
Sound is a problem with all these laptops,
yet, I persist in trying to record my arias.
Thanks again!
