Hello World! New user/learner here! Thanks in advance for all the help.

I'm a mid-career electrician transitioning into i.t. and have found you all, thankfully! I've been building/maintaining my own windows equipment for years and finally decided to take the plunge on an old Dell laptop.
So glad I did!
interests include: coding, networking(not on social media), gardening, fishing, family life.
