The COVID-19 pandemic has forced millions of Canadians - either willingly or unwillingly - to spend more time indoors.
But how much time people are spending inside varies depending on where they live, according to data compiled by Environics Analytics.
The company used cellphone location services on apps to measure movement on weekends between Feb. 1 and April 5.
That was used to figure an "out-and-about rate," described as the percentage of devices that were observed more than 100 metres from their inferred home postal code at least three times for 10 minutes each in a day.
