virtualbox on Debian 10

I have been using virtualbox from here:

it worked fine for a while, but now throws this error:
Code:virtualbox : Depends: python3 (< 3.8) but 3.8.2-2 is to be installed
Depends: libgsoap-2.8.75 but it is not installableI do have newer versions of 'python3' and 'libgsoap'.
Why does latest virtualbox from the above site require these old ones?
I'd like to avoid compiling if possible.
