In this time of social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, one way to lift your spirits is by staying active. So what better way than to learn from an award-winning dancer from the National Ballet of Canada?
On Thursday, April 16, 2020 at noon ET, First Soloist Tina Pereira will be teaching a beginner's ballet lesson for kids of all ages (that means you too adults!). Pereira's dance repertoire with the company includes The Sugar Plum Fairy in "The Nutcracker," Katerina in "The Taming of the Shrew, " and the title role in "Carmen" to name a few.
Whether it's a solo recital or a performance with the whole family, get active with this livestream class brought to you by the National Ballet of Canada and the Toronto Star.
