My micro-SD phone card died. When I tried to read it on Ubuntu I could not mount it. My laptop dual boots to Ubuntu and WinX. I booted to Windows and was able to recover the card. I just inserted it and let Windows do the recovery thing. Basically nothing. Hope this helps someone with the same problem.
