wish to make iso for system replication

Friends,
I have a working install of ubuntu 18.04 64b that I am very happy with, machine A.
I have made several customization s including some linuxbrew installs.

I wish to be able to replicate this system on different hardware call that machine B.
Machine B is about the same hardware.

I was wondering what might be the "Best" way to migrate my system machine A onto a machine b , machine c etc etc.

basically I wish to Not install and build all the many many customizations - but rather have one "big Thing" that I can drop onto a "machine B" and then do small customizations ..eg change ipNum.
I have 6 machines that I need to build ...so I am looking for a "shortcut" and to have a "golden reStore" image .

I have seen some wisdom about this... such as dd
i need to make machine B bootable etc etc.

but I thought I would ask for advice here.

thanks in advance
