Rob Gronkowski is back in the NFL.

On Tuesday, the New England Patriots traded the tight end - who retired following the 2018 season - and a seventh-round draft pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for a fourth-round selection. The trade reunites Gronkowski with quarterback and former longtime teammate Tom Brady, who recently joined Tampa Bay in free agency.

The Buccaneers got a huge boost in the futures market when Brady signed. Although Gronkowski doesn't play a premium position and hasn't suited up since Feb. 2019, bettors are once again flocking to the Bucs.

"We moved Tampa Bay from 15-1 to 12-1 to win the Super Bowl," said Jay Rood, Bet.Works' chief risk officer and theScore Bet's head trader, who also noted that the Bucs went from 5-1 to 9-2 to win the NFC following the deal.

The Buccaneers' skill corps was already solid prior to the trade, headlined by the star receiving duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. At the very least, Gronkowski's another familiar option in the passing game for Brady - the two spent nine seasons together in New England

As it stands, the 49ers have the shortest odds to win the NFC at +350.
