SARPi 2 (current) - Can't ssh in for install-

I'm tired and can't think right now... SARPi2 install
I followed:

...and when I tried to log in as root:
Code:Permission denied, please try again.So I added a root password and re-tried:
Code:Permission denied, please try again.So, I added a user and re-tried:
Code:Permission denied, please try again.I went to edit PermitRootLogin in sshd_config and there doesn't seem to be a shhd_config.
Anyone have a solution?
