Jeudy's doctor dismisses knee injury concerns in letter to teams

The doctor for potential first-round pick Jerry Jeudy expects the receiver will "progress through his professional career without any limitations" amid concerns about a knee injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Dr. E. Lyle Cain wrote to all 32 NFL clubs ahead of Thursday's 2020 draft after rumors surfaced that some teams were concerned about Jeudy's knee.

The former Alabama standout injured his left knee in the spring of 2018 and underwent surgery.

Jeudy was able to return in time to play a full season, and Cain wrote that the 20-year-old hasn't experienced any "subsequent issue, symptoms, or limitations."

Rapoport also said that he's yet to talk to a team that believes Jeudy's previous knee injury will hinder his NFL career.

Jeudy is widely expected to be drafted within the first 15 selections and is in a fight to be the first wideout picked with Henry Ruggs III and CeeDee Lamb.

In his last two seasons at Alabama, Jeudy racked up 2,478 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns.
