[PDF to HTML] Alternative to poppler?
by littlebigman from LinuxQuestions.org on (#52J8B)
Hello,
I'd like to convert PDFs to HTML, and then on to EPUB for use on my e-reader more conveniently (e-readers often have issues reading PDFs).
I tried the famous poppler and its utility pdftohtml, but unsurprisingly, it has a very hard time with anything other than plain text*.
Has someone tried alternatives, either open- (pdfium, zathura, podofo) or closed-source?
Thank you.
