gparted won't start
by dglocke from LinuxQuestions.org on (#52J8C)
When I try to start GPARTED from the desktop it shows the spinning circle for several seconds & then stops. No messages no nothing. When I go to terminal & use sudo gparted I get the following messages:
unit boot.mount does not exist
unit tmp.mount does not exist
/usr/sbin/gpartedbin: error while loading shared libraries: libgtkmm.2.4.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory.
It has worked on this system in the past. I'm using Ubuntu 19.10. I have uninstalled gparted & then reinstalled it. I don't know how to resolve this issue on my own.
