The Baltimore Ravens were one of the teams that attempted to trade for star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, sources told Mike Silver of NFL Network.
Baltimore ultimately lost out to the Arizona Cardinals, but the club could be eyeing a trade up in the first round of the draft Thursday to grab a wideout, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
With reigning MVP Lamar Jackson on a rookie deal for at least two more seasons, the Ravens are in win-now mode. Baltimore drafted receiver Marquise Brown in the first round of last year's draft but still needs more weapons for its young quarterback.
The Cardinals acquired Hopkins and a 2021 fourth-round pick in March for a second-rounder and running back David Johnson.
