autofs and NFS mount hangs on RHEL 8.1
by louisb from LinuxQuestions.org on (#52KA7)
I just installed RHEL 8.1 and trying to use AutoFS as well as trying to mount an NFS volume across my network.
I've configured AutoFS correctly, I've confirmed the the configuration by configuring AutoFS and NFS in an CENTOS 8 environment and used the same configuration on my RHEL machine. In the CENTOS 8 environment everything works just fine.
When I execute a mount using AutoFS the mount process just hangs. The same behavior happens when I try a standard mount to the same network resource. In CENTOS 8 no such behavior occurs.
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how I might solve this.
Thanks
