Questions about older versions of Linux at the Vmware museum #1

I'll say something, how do I choose the monitor and video card for Mandrake 7.0, and also for Conectiva, Red Hat 7.2 and SuSE Linux 7.1? There is no VESA here, it has not been added yet, I want to install these old distros for the museum on VMware and VirtualBox?
