Joseph heads to Titans after 9 seasons with Texans
Veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph is signing with the Tennessee Titans following a nine-year run with the Houston Texans, he told ESPN's Dianna Russini.
"I'm familiar with the coaches and the division and they went to the AFC Title Game last year," Joseph told Josina Anderson of ESPN. "Not far from (South Carolina), so will get to travel on Friday and see son play senior year football at North Carolina."
Joseph will bring 14 years of experience and 31 career interceptions to the Titans. The former first-round pick broke into the league with the Cincinnati Bengals before becoming a mainstay in the Texans' secondary for most of the last decade.
In 14 outings a season ago, Joseph notched 51 tackles and broke up 13 passes, hauling in one pick. The 36-year-old was a Pro Bowler for the Texans in 2011 and 2012.
