Report: Bears agree to 1-year deal with Ted Ginn Jr.
The Chicago Bears agreed to terms on a one-year contract with wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr., according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Ginn, 35, is entering his 14th season in the NFL after spending the last three campaigns with the New Orleans Saints. The speedy wideout amassed 30 catches for 421 yards and two touchdowns in 2019.
Though Ginn averaged 14 yards per catch last season, he hasn't topped 700 yards or two touchdowns since 2017.
Allen Robinson, the Bears' leading receiver last year, was the team's only wideout to post more than 55 receptions. Chicago, which released Taylor Gabriel in February, also has Anthony Miller, who's entering his third pro year, and 2019 fourth-round pick Riley Ridley at the position.
The Bears will be Ginn's sixth NFL team.
